I started in landscaping at 18, cutting grass. Nine years of working up through other companies followed, running plant installation jobs as a foreman, then account management and business development, before I started Lasting Impressions in 2017.
The design side started earlier. I have drawn all my life and I use that on this work. The landscape is my palette. I started with plant layouts, then patios, then entire backyards. Today I design most projects as a 3D rendering of your own home before pricing is even final.
The business was built on relationships. I meet you at the first call and I am still there at the final walkthrough. The name is what I hold the work to.

“If I could give 10 stars out of 5 I would. Marcus and his guy did amazing. I live out of town and hired them for my parents flower beds. I had very specific requests and within 24 hours he had already been by the house to give me a quote. I am very demanding. I gave him less than a week to get the job done and he delivered with a smile! And on a holiday weekend I might add. Communicates very well and quickly by text or phone! The whole thing from start to finish was a breeze. Would def recommend them to anyone and will FOR SURE be using them again. Enjoy the before and afters.”

I live near the yard in Mantua with my wife Monica and our three boys. I front a band, sing and play guitar, and when there is time off it goes to camping and hiking, Cuyahoga Valley close to home and the Allegheny National Forest when there is a long weekend to spend.
