Aurora projects often carry grade, and grade is what moves a budget. A patio on a flat lot is one price; the same patio held by an engineered wall system with drainage behind it is another. The twenty foot drop we rebuilt here started exactly that way, and the first step that means anything is the site visit, where we can see what the slope actually asks for. One of the biggest projects we have built is in Aurora. The backyard had a twenty foot drop off, and we built a multi-tiered retaining wall with proper drainage and tiered planting beds to turn it into usable space. A couple of years later the same clients had us come back and build a large patio on top of it. They left us a Google review about it.
Common projects for us here: tiered retaining walls, drainage and grading, patios on sloped lots, plantings. And on every one of them the lawn repair is warrantied for six months, because our machines made the mess and it is ours to fix.
Aurora covers the northwest leg of the circle, between Mantua and Twinsburg. SR-43, SR-82 and SR-306 run through town, about fifteen minutes from our yard. Reminderville and the neighborhoods around the old Geauga Lake side are inside the run too. Our yard sits on Bartlett Road in Mantua, and we keep every job inside a tight circle of it, which is how Marcus stays on each site personally instead of managing crews by phone.

Aurora keeps adding developments, and a new build usually comes with a blank, rough-graded yard. We take those from dirt: final grade and drainage first, then beds, plantings, walkways and the patio, designed in 3D so you can see the finished yard before the first load of stone arrives.
Aurora designs deal with grade more than anything else. When a backyard drops away, the drawing has to solve where the walls go, where the water goes and where the flat usable space ends up, all before a machine shows up. The biggest tiered wall system we have built started as exactly that drawing.

Regularly. Aurora's newer developments mostly have boards, and we handle the approval for you: the 3D design shows locations and setbacks, we present it to the landscape committee, and the build starts after the sign-off, not before.
