Stow backyards are a workable size for a full build, which is why our projects here tend to bundle: patio, plantings and lighting drawn as one design instead of three separate bids. Bundling is also the cheaper way to buy it, because the machines mobilize once and the lighting wire goes in before the stone does. Lighting is the upgrade we push hardest in Stow, because it doubles the hours a yard gets used. Kichler low-voltage fixtures on the paths and steps, uplights on the house, a programmable transformer, wired during construction when trenching is cheap. Spend the money on a patio and skip the light, and the space closes at sunset from October on.

A Stow patio runs anywhere from five thousand dollars to fifty depending on size and what is built into it. Lighting and a fire feature move it up and also decide how many months a year you use it. You approve the design and the preliminary pricing before anything is dug.
